When you arrive, we’ll greet you by name, introduce you to your coach, and make sure you feel comfortable before class begins.


Every movement has options, so you’ll never feel out of place or like you “can’t keep up.” You’ll do a real class with real people — no mirrors, no egos, no drill-sergeant vibes.


By the end, you’ll walk out feeling stronger, more confident, and probably wondering why you didn’t start sooner.

What to Expect in Your First Class

Welcome to Surviving Strong Fitness Program

We get it: starting something new can feel intimidating. Will you fit in? Will you be able to keep up? Will everyone already know what they’re doing?


Here’s what you can actually expect when you walk through our doors:

 

  • A warm welcome. We’ll greet you by name and help you settle in. Chances are high that one of our members will say hello too -- we all remember what it felt like to start.
     
  •  A quick personal check-in. Whenever possible, we’ll connect with you before your first class to hear about old injuries, concerns, or anything else we should know so you don’t have to explain it in front of a group.
     
  • Coaching that meets you where you are. Every movement has options. You’ll never be left behind or feel like you “can’t keep up.”
     
  • A real class with real people. No watered-down demos, no awkward sales pitch. Just the full experience of what we do, with the support you need. (If you love it, we’ll tell you about our intro offer of 3 sessions for the cost of 2 — no pressure.)
     
  • A community that cheers when you show up. No mirrors. No egos. Just real people who want you to succeed.

Nope. Everyone starts somewhere. We’ll give you options so you can move at your pace, and you’ll never feel like you’re slowing anyone else down. 


Wear whatever you can move in comfortably, no need for fancy gear or matching outfits.

  • For Pilates and aerial classes: barefoot or grippy socks.
  • For strength and cardio: regular sneakers work great.


Bring a water bottle (we have a filling station right here). Towels are optional, but honestly, most people don’t bother.

Our community ranges from people in their 20s to their 80s. Everyone here is focused on the same thing: building strength, resilience, and confidence in real life.


We’re not about vanity metrics or “perfect bodies.” We’re about helping you feel stronger, move better, and handle whatever life throws your way. If that sounds good to you, you’ll fit right in.


Between us, our team has decades of experience helping people move safely and build strength. Some of our coaches hold advanced certifications (our owner is one of the few Nationally Certified Pilates Teachers in the region), and every single one of us is trained to adapt classes for all levels, ages, and abilities.


Bottom line: you’ll be guided by someone who knows what they’re doing, cares about your progress, and will make sure you’re safe while being challenged.


If you love it (and most people do), we’ll talk you through our intro offer: 3 sessions for the cost of 2. No pressure, no hard sell — just an easy way to keep going and get a real feel for what we do and how we can fit into your schedule. 


Our drop-in rate is $35 per session. Most people choose one of our other options:

  • Memberships (best value if you want consistency, with as little as a 3-month commitment) 
  • Class packs (perfect if you need more flexibility).
     

We’ll help you find the option that makes sense for your goals, schedule, and budget.

All of our sessions are small-group training — so you get the energy of a group and the attention of personal coaching. Pilates classes max out at 6 people; strength and other sessions max out at 8. 


That way we can keep an eye on your form, give you personalized adjustments, and actually know your name. 


Absolutely. Not everyone wants to jump right into a group and that’s okay. We offer one-on-one training if you’d prefer to start more privately. Your coach will meet you where you are and help you feel confident before (or instead of) joining group sessions.
